Great, a familiar face! Maybe there will be some more activity when the Blu-Ray gets released.

I have the original theatrical film on DVD; it's the Laserdisc converted to DVD. So if you keep getting requests, maybe we should start a thread for people who want to request it.

I think we are once again out of luck getting the theatrical version on the Blu-ray.

It appears that we are getting an HD upgrade version of the 2-disc DVD set. Amazon now has a picture of the box with the features listed on the back:

I do wish they'd used the art from the single-disc dvd release, it's so much better.

Of course I love my 2-disc dvd, and can't wait for the blu-ray, but I always wanted that single-disc art...

Amazon has updated with a release date of September 7.  Getting closer!!

Unfortunately there isn't any more info on what will be included on this disc.  I for one am hoping that they don't wuss out and that the "old" version will be on here, even if its not full HD.

Just received a reply email from virtuquest regarding the status of the old state wellness and robot fabrication plant websites used in the SEN-5241/THX1138 ARG.

They wrote
" We currently do not have any plans to actively archive those websites; however we do received numerous emails regarding the SEN5241 ARG. It might be something for us to consider and provide as a reflection of our appreciation for the support of the game and of THX1138."

I also received an image of the sub city central website from the game which I can upload if allowed...





Anyways, I hope they follow through and can get them up.

Hmmm, excellent and at the same time disappointing 

I was hoping they'd do a "dual cut" of this, with both the old and new versions.  Rather than just the "directors cut"....  Maybe it'll be on there, who knows. I'm sure more details will emerge.  I'll try to stay on top of this one....

I should also mention that I won't reply to folks looking for copies of the laserdisc->dvd transfer.  I don't have any and I don't know where to get them (cough)....  been getting a few of those lately too...
