What about those cars? Lotus? What an awesome thought-provoking move, don't make those anymore, just cookie-cutter actors and CGI crap.

Did you see the original version of THX-1138 or the new, 21-century remake?

ALthough there has been a lot of talk about the re-released version, I'll repeat myself anyway.   :wink:

All the CGI in the new release, in my opinion, took away much from the simple white-on-white look of the original.

It is still a good movie, and I spent my credits on my quota of copies  Cheesy

I've seen the original many many times of course, and also the pilot from Lucas' college days. I was not aware of a re-released version, is it out for rent?

The new, re-vamped, re-edited, and cgi'ed version came out in September of 04 on DVD.  (Among the extra features are interviews, including, Maggie McOmie  -- woo-hoo!  Cheesy )
