Single disc DVD

A lot of people are talking about how they do not like the directors cut, and while I haven't seen it yet given Lucas's recent work it is very possible he botched this one.  There is a two disc set that is the directors cut, but they are also selling a single disc DVD that is not listed as a directors cut.  So aside from the picture and sound being cleaned up the single disc version might be the original non-directors cut THX 1138

Except for the fact that the single-disc version says "Director's Cut" on the front of the box.

The single disc version is the directors cut also with all of the CGI, just no second disc with additional bonus material. Sorry. If that were the case all th people that are so upset (not me, I like the directors cut, but I have a VCD import of the original if I want to watch it) would be overjoyed. Again sorry, it's the same movie.... :?
