I just saw it. A little bit more representative of the spirit of the film, I think.

New change: ILM added some strange creatures in CGI near the shell dwellers...

Those creatures with the shell dwellers look like evil monkeys. There'a also a quick shot of a machine "pleasuring" THX while he watches the hologram. Weird, but good allegory for what technology and the internet has become.
