Who is LUH?

Ok, I posted the question about THX earlier.  And thank you, Julien, for your reply.

Now, what about LUH?  What do we know about her and what makes her tick?

Why did she mess with THX's medication and then mess with his mind afterward?

What became of her?  Was she arrested and destroyed?

I have some thoughts, but I'd like to hear your's.

LUH is just the universal figure of... woman...

Woman who guides the action, who determines the fate of the hero... The FATE REVELATOR... And the hero revelator. That's for a woman that a man becomes a hero.
She is the first object of THX's quest. When he discover's she's dead - and recognizes it as SRT says - then his objective is freedom.

I agree with what you wrote, but she is more than just a cookie-cutter character.  She is more than just an object for THX's quest.

Other than, "GL wrote her this way," why does she do what she does?

Why did she mess with THX's pills?  What made her go "out of the norm"?

I think it's important to realize that this is a movie and that certain elements/characters are necessary just to move the story or the plot.  Her character may have been envisioned soley to get THX off his ass, but it is obvious that her role in the story evolved nothing less than pivotal.
I found it humerous that THX was at first hoplessly confused by his lust, eventually smitten and then hopelessly confused again as she prepared to "end the relationship".
Remember the way she acts while talking about going to see SEN?
I think she is prepared for her demise.  Perhaps she was prepared for it months before she began violating THX's drug regiment.
But why did she violate her own regiment?  Did someone put her up to it?
Was it SEN?  Perhaps, but I don't think LUH was working toward the same goal as him.  It seems to me when I really try to wrap my brain around it that LUH gave up.  Rather than some abstract idea of freedom, she chose freedom of mind and it led to intamacy.  But I think she was preparing for her own termination.  Mind you - THX never chose freedom.  He just kept running away.  The society alowed him to keep running as it was too much of a bother to try to catch this wiley rebelious fool.  Let him leave.
It would be interesting to find out about these things via a deep and insightfull comentary on the DVD but this is where I think Lucas will fail us miserabley - opting to explain how he added the backround and expanded the look of the enviroment - WHO CARES ABOUT THAT?!

Among other things, I somehow saw LUH as Eve, as in Adam and Eve. I wont go into detail, but re-examine the movie with this in mind. Im tired right now, but there are some parts that I feel that the story is similar. Ill post more later.

Ok, so lets see.

If you read Genesis 3:6, you can see where I get the idea.

Genesis 3:6

"And when the woman saw that the tree was good for food, and that it was pleasant to the eyes, and a tree to be desired to make one wise, she took of the fruit thereof, and did eat, and gave also unto her husband with her; and he did eat."

So you can say that the pills they take, are the "fruit." This is true since she is the one that has a small case of them, and slips one into THX's plate.

Genesis 3:7

"And the eyes of them both were opened, and they knew that they were naked; and they sewed fig leaves together, and made themselves aprons. "

This one isnt really hard evidence, the only thing I can think of is, after taking the pill(fruit) they have "naked" sex.

Then basically, they are "kicked" out of the Garden/Eden/Paradise.

Theres more, but I just wanted to set it up, so people can get a general idea of what Im talking about.
