Does anyone know if the film contains words that are made up? For example 'comperson' and 'penderal': Those words are made up, aren't they?

I think many of the "technical" words used in the film are composites of existing words, so they would be easily understood.  At the same time, they lend a futuristic feel to the film.

As for the drug names, I am not sure if they are names of real drugs or not.  The problem is that no seems to agree on the spellings of the drug names: Penderal or Penural? etc.  I tried to google a few of the drug names (according to my spellings) and got nothing.

The drugs would be made up names, as George can't use names that exist without paying for the Copyright to use them.

The correct spellings, according to Ben Bova's book are, Pinural, Etracene and Enervol.
