Never seen...

I've heard of and read about this movie, but never actually seen it.

After viewing the trailer for the upcoming release(s), I'm curious as to how much updating has been done to the film. Some of the fx type stuff certainly don't appear to be 1970's technology.

Am I correct in assuming GL has updated this film in a similar manner as that to which he did to the original SW trilogy?
