Has anyone noticed the musical jingle at the title page of the official site? This is not something I've ever heard in the original version. It sounds very Disney!

When you go to the site it will play different pieces of music after you hear "THX 1138". Refresh the page until you hear swooping music then the jingle will start.

It goes something like "Be Happy, think that nothing is wrong. If you are  thankful then you can get along. Buy more....."

This may be something that was originally cut from the film. Shocked

Ah, yes! That piece was cut from the film... everybody liked it, but it just didn't belong. You can hear it fully on the limited edition soundtrack put out by Film Score Monthly, if there are any left!

Yes, there are: the limited original track can still be ordered in the last official Lucasfilm mag (published in France, the only one in the world). 29 â?¬ = ~35 $.

If you're such a geek who can read French, you can subscribe it for six months on www.courleciel.com , but for 43,45 â?¬ if you're American instead of 27,44 â?¬.

Here is a link to ign.com. I believe this could be the DVD cover for the international version or perhaps the single disc version, with the art that we've seen being the 2 disc DVD.

It's his film, not ours.

George actually took the time to fix some shots with bogus effects as well as add some new shots. THX is his film, not ours. He's the artist - now with special effects technology that will allow him to further refine his "picture."

I've seen THX 1138 numerous times in 70s, but I'm looking forward to seeing George's "final" release.

Very excited almost 50 year old.

Hey, don't you think it could be time they bring a second trailer online ? One month has passed already and there are three left; and they announced five previews on the official site...

I'm like a junkie !  Shocked

By the way, what is the pending menu "EVN" ? "Events" about the theatrical releases ?

Yes, I assumed that the EVN was for upcoming events. The film is being shown in it's new director's cut version tomorrow in Los Angeles for the film festival. We should hear news about it soon. Maybe something else is planned? :?

I'm hoping that the new trailer will be posted soon too. I think that some of the trailers may be more like little web docs. If it's anything like the Star Wars sites, then the video should be posted late today or by the 30th. They like to put things on at the end of the month and they're on PST.

I just went to the Los Angeles Film Festival website and it stated that the screening of THX 1138 yesterday was cancelled. I guess it's not finished being updated.

Do you think it was cancelled because of the final cut isn't finished?
That might explain why there are not any more updates
on the trailer section of the movie site?

 Sad
