George Lucas Predicts Death of Big Budget Movies
« on: March 06, 2006, 09:45:43 am »

Seems kind of odd considering he practically pioneered the creation of the big-budget special effects film.  I wonder if he's serious about taking his work in a new (yet familiar Wink ) direction.  And I think his idea of "indie" is a bit different than mine or yours.  Interesting snippet nonetheless.

Even though Lucas did THX on a very small budget, he certainly went all out on the remake.

And, if a film is low budget, who are they going to get to act in it?
