Walter Murch was at the Vancouver Final Cut Pro (Assuming thats what FCP stands for) Users Group.  Walter Murch is the mastermind behind the sound for THX 1138.

Thanks for the link--Murch was actually in Vancouver for a series of events organised by Praxis Centre for Screenwriters (http://praxisfilm.com) and Simon Fraser University (http://www.sfu.ca). I was just one of the lucky attendees. Though if Walter Murch ever returns to this part of the world, the Vancouver Final Cut Pro User Group would be only too happy to host him.
